ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING

The nearest car charging points are at Purdy Lodge service station and also in Seahouses in the main car park at the gate entrance to The Ocean Club.

Unfortunately we cannot offer a car charging service - advice from our electrician states that it is not ideal to charge from a 13 amp socket as the load required 3kw can cause slight overheating in the plug top and socket. The EV charger should also be on its own radial circuit i.e. its own fuse and larger cable to supply it.
